"My investigation in holistic medicine started very early in my life, triggered by my desperate desire of finding a solution to my anxiety, hormones and weight management issues.

My sensibility and my empathetic nature made me choose Social Care as a major subject in my early studies, where I've learned about childhood, adulthood and elderly's health, development, behaviour and social-cultural related problems.

It was the beginning of a self-discovery and understanding journey ( never ending and still ongoing) that allowed me to improve my wellbeing and the relationship within myself and others, and that offered me the possibility of empower others while gaining strength and balance myself.

I've then joined the University of East London for a BSc in Human Physiology and Early Childhood studies, and in the meantime also the three years full-time Advanced Diploma course on Naturopathic Studies and Herbal Medicine at the London College of Naturopathic Medicine, to be qualified as a Naturopath and Medical Herbalist.

In these years I've learnt about human physiology in health and disease, human development, scientific and practical application of naturopathic principles, nutrition, detoxification, Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, Pulse and Tongue examination, Iridology, and specialised in Western, Chinese and Ayurvedic Herbal Medicine and them clinical application through practical training at the student clinic and dispensary; and researched into the role of diet in the development and management of chronic inflammation and the utilisation of Ayurvedic herbs like Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum) in the prevention and management of type 2 diabetes.

Fascinated by the integrative and holistic Ayurvedic medical system,
I've continued personal studies and research about Ayurveda, and Ayurvedic medicinal herbs, body constitutions, nutrition and lifestyle;
trained to become an Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Therapist (Kusum Modak method) at the Institute of Ayurvedic Yoga Massage of Mysore in India, and deepened my studies in Ayurvedic Therapy, Marma Points and Therapeutic Yoga.

During the last years I've been working privately as a health practitioner, and health consultant in health stores in the UK and Spain, where I've expanded my knowledge on natural products, supplements, their quality and application, and natural cosmetic;
I've been collaborating within hospitality projects regarding healthy eating, and organic local products, aimed to re-educate people in conscious eating and the concept of
"food as a medicine";
and collaborating within Retreats and Spas, to spread wellbeing, education and health out of the clinical context to leisure and tourism.

Furthermore I've completed the MSc in Food Science, Health and Human Wellbeing at the Medical Department of University of Sassari in Italy, with a research study on Nutraceuticals, Epigenetic and Nutrigenomic.
and I've become a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine ( USA) and the Association of Naturopathic Practitioner for constant update and study about integrative functional medicine and modern approaches.

My mission is to empower, motivate and educate people on taking care of them health, and to be responsible and in charge of them wellbeing and life to generate a positive impact and an improvement in our realities and communities.
